Are Diamonds Lucky?

My aunt believes in astrology and thinks that wearing a diamond pendent always brought her luck. One day the hook of her pendent broke and it fell down. She picked it up with great care and kept it in her jewelry box. The next day she lost her purse in the restaurant and realized that she lost it only late night. She tried calling the restaurant but it was already closed. The next morning she took her diamond pendent along with her to the restaurant to ask if any one had seen her purse. The restaurant staff member greeted her and handed over her purse which was lying under the table last night.
